Your Right to Data Deletion
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. This page explains how to delete your data from NewGenOS.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, we will remove:
- Your user account and profile information
- All reports and campaigns you created
- All social media posts you added for tracking
- All analytics data and metrics
- All creator information you added
- All usage logs and activity data
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)
- Log into your NewGenOS account
- Go to your profile settings
- Click "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion
- Your data will be permanently deleted within 24 hours
Option 2: Manual Deletion Request
If you cannot access your account or prefer manual deletion:
- Email us at hello@thenewgen.com
- Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line
- Provide your email address associated with the account
- Specify what data you want deleted
- We will process your request within 30 days
Data Deletion Process
When you request data deletion:
- We verify your identity to prevent unauthorized deletion
- We remove your data from all our systems
- We delete data from third-party services (Supabase, Railway)
- We confirm deletion completion
- We retain only anonymized, aggregated data for analytics
Data Retention Exceptions
We may retain certain data for legal or regulatory reasons:
- Financial records (if applicable)
- Legal compliance requirements
- Security incident investigations
- Anonymized usage statistics
Third-Party Data
Please note that we cannot delete data from third-party platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) that you may have linked to your account. You will need to manage your privacy settings directly on those platforms.
Data Export Before Deletion
Before deleting your data, you may want to export it for your records:
- Log into your account
- Go to Settings → Data Export
- Request a copy of your data
- Download the exported file
- Then proceed with account deletion
Confirmation of Deletion
After processing your deletion request, we will send you a confirmation email detailing what data was deleted and when. If you have any questions about the deletion process, please contact us.
